•Natural gas is a fossil fuel formed from the remains of plants and animals. It is formed when layers of decomposing plant and animal matter are exposed to intense heat and pressure under the surface of the earth over millions of years.
•It is an odorless, colorless and non-toxic non-renewable hydrocarbon used as a source of energy for heating, cooking, and electricity generation. It is also used as a fuel for vehicles and as a chemical feedstock in the manufacture of plastics and other commercially important organic chemicals.
•Natural gas can be in two states gaseous (compressed natural gas ), and liquid (liquified natural gas). For ease of transporting natural gas is cooled to a liquefied state between -120 degrees Celsius -165 degrees Celsius. Compressed natural gas is stored at 200 – 250 bars. Natural gas is suitable for all cars, but LNG preferred for long hail vehicles and long distances.
