TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia (Pty) Ltd has been operating in Namibia since 1977, under the name Total South West Africa, the company was registered in 1988 as Total South West Africa/Namibia (Pty) Ltd. It was rebranded as Total Namibia (Pty) Ltd in 1989 and most recently renamed TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia (Pty) Ltd in 2021.

In 2023, TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia (Pty) Ltd Retail network expanded to 43 service stations, with additional projects in progress. The company is supplied by two main depots located in Windhoek and Walvis Bay.

TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia ranks as the 4th largest distributor/marketer of Hydrocarbons products in the country.

Within the business landscape, TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia supplies service station owners, small and large businesses, agricultural sector, and holds a significant market share in the mining industry by supplying Hydrocarbons to major mines in the country.

TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia is committed to employing Namibian citizens, with a workforce of 36 permanent employees and interns specializing in engineering, HSEQ, and supply chain management.

Social Responsibility and Sponsorships

TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia is one of the sponsors of the Namibian Chamber of Environment (NCE), an association tasked to spread the message of protecting the Namibian environment and wildlife through nature conservations and community education/awareness programs. TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia is one of the founding member s of NCE along with B2Gold Mining.

TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia in conjunction with Rossing Foundation and Rossing Uranium Mining also provides annual financial support to the “Namibia Mathematics and Science Laboratory Project” to improve science education in disadvantaged and marginalized communities. TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia covers all fuel expenses for the mobile science laboratory, so that science subject can reach rural schools and communities and supports various other Rossing Foundation projects as well through CSR contributions.

We also support various road safety campaigns. TotalEnergies Marketing Namibia is a proud supporter of the TotalEnergies Professors Association (TPA) and in association with University of Namibia (UNAM) and Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) sponsors the TPA professors to Namibia on a yearly basis to lecture students on various subjects related to the oil industry.
