85 TotalENERGIES service stations now powered by the sun in South Africa.
TotalEnergies is committed to solar energy with a program to install solar panels in 5,000 of its service stations worldwide, and nearly 2,500 in Africa. The total solar capacity to be installed is equivalent to the amount of electricity used to power a city of 125,000 people.
In South Africa, TotalEnergies is taking part in this program, thus covering a part of its service stations energy needs. The aim is to have solarized more than 280 service stations by the end of 2022. To date, 85 TotalEnergies service stations are already solarized.
